When there is no input sound, these block noise about as good as foam earplugs or workman's headphones. According to the reviews, these are probably the best on the market. The high-frequency sound quality is not nearly as good as the perfect high frequency sound I get from a $10 pair of in-the-ear Sony headphones. These sound good, but it's not hi-fi for high frequencies. There is also some hissing as others have reported which is noticeable mainly only when there is no sound input.

They barely fit over my ears, but that was not a problem either and means the size is as small as possible. I can understand the complaints from others, if they have big ears.

AAA Alkaline battery last about 10 hours.

I hoped for substantially more noise blocking and hoped for perfect sound quality, but they are only "adequate". But it's a neat product and I use them a lot.

I ordered wrong item, there was nothing wrong with this. It looked great, but was not what my husband wanted.

A very good product for the price. I had previously tried Phillips SHN9500, these are at least twice as good at eliminating noise.

I had high hopes for these headphones; with a long trip planned I’d have peace and quiet on the plane. Unfortunately, the headphones made so much noise on their on that I sent them back for a refund and bought the Bose QC3. Expensive, but worth it if you want to eliminate the roar on an airliner. Rather than bore you with a long description of the Bose just read their ad and believe it.

I ordered these noise-canceling headphones specifically for an international flight I was to take the following week. I ordered them 2nd day delivery “guaranteed”, to be delivered by Friday. The headphones did not arrive by the following Monday, and I did not have them in time for my flight. I was not reimbursed for the late delivery. This was a poor performance by Amazon and UPS.
