Wanted to test out my new in-car video system. This is a Vio POV 1.5 with a global electronic shutter shooting 720×400 30fps video. Camera is a 110-degree field of view bullet mounted to the harness bar. The audio is being captured by a Shure C606WD dynamic microphone mounted in the left rear cargo bin of the Corvette so it stays isolated from wind noise. This captures the engine sounds, but does not capture any cockpit conversations.

If you own a home theater, you should have a surge protector with line conditioning. Most people simply use power strips, which are small and easy to use. The problem is that they’re not effective. We recommend that you throw your power strip away. Immediately. Power isn’t consistent – there are always spikes, coming from a number of different sources. Because of the inconsistencies, surges will occur, and your equipment will then wear out much faster. A lot of electronic noise comes from your household as well, from devices such as microwaves, refrigerators, vaccuums, etc. Line conditioning in surge protectors will reduce the added noise to your home theater system. The more you move up in quality in your line conditioning surge protector, the more you’ll increase the number of filters and quality of those filters. You’ll also increase isolated banks. Question by Mysty: What are the best noise cancelling, DJ style headphones under £40?
I want a pair of headphones that block surrounding noise out as well as isolate what I’m listening to, as I’d like to travel with them. I want a sturdy pair of headphones that won’t break. I’ve looked at the DJ style headphones but I’m not really sure what headphones or manufacturers are best to go for.

They also need to have a good bass.

For under 40 you have pretty slim pickings I hate to say it. But I guess you could go for SkullCandy HESH or Skull Crushers. They sound great and the might be a little more than 40, but this are the best in that price range.
