With the JVC HANC80 noise-canceling headphone, now you can choose the most effective noise cancel mode for the circumstances. HANC80 offers both “wide” and “low” noise cancellation modes. The product was great and was the perfect gift. However, the problem was in the shipping. I paid for the fast shipping to arrive before Christmas. It arrived a few days after Christmas by ground. On the package was a sticker that said 2nd day and the address label said ground. When I checked my amazon records, I had requested 2nd day and paid for it. When the shippers were contacted and given this information, they agreed to refund the shipping. It is unfortunate that the gift was late, but I felt the situation was taken care of. So I would defintely give high marks and would order again from Amazon.

I bought the JVC phones and the Bose series 2 with the intention of making a comparison. Returned the JVC the next day. Dollar for dollar, the Bose is a better deal, even though they cost 5 times as much as the JVC. Sorry to say, JVC has a flop on its hands.

Based upon other reviews, I looked forward to getting the results I needed at non-Bose prices. The use planned was to cancel out the crappy music at the gym, and substitute my own. Neither setting works very well, and I have to put the volume up so high I’m concerned about hearing damage. Back to the old in-ears. I now have a $50 plus set of useless headphones.

These work very nicely on long flights; they’re comfortable and easy to carry.

These headphones are comfortable but with sound that is unremarkable and noise canceling
that is non-existant. I have an old pair of panasonic noise canceling headphones from 8 years ago that
have astounding noise canceling compared to these…
Yep, canceling turned on, light on,……..noise canceling, non-existant!
I have several pair of old cans in the closet that do a much nicer job.
If the sound and N.C. measured up to the comfort level….these would be great.
