Well I bought these about a year ago, and they are really nice headphones with only one problem. The battery compartment is absolutely terrible!

I am an airline pilot and fly internationally. During rest breaks I like to be able to get some sleep and these headphones do a great job muting much of the “people talking” and “meal carts being pushed up and down the isle” noise. When I want to fall asleep to some music the sound from these, although not Bose quality, is still very good. I have average size ears and am able to fit them inside of the earcups without much problem. I have owned them for a year and with average use they are still working as good as the day I bought them. I would definitely recommend these headphones.

The headphones worked fine for a few months – the noise cancelling was OK, but not great. Eventually, one side of the head phones started to boost in volume intermittently (only when the noise cancelling was turned on). So I can’t really use them as noise cancelling headphones anymore.

For the price the sound is good. However the shape of the over the ear speakers do not actually fit over the ear. This causes pain if worn for a long time. I do not have big ears or a big head. These are definitely not for people with big ears and barley for people with regular ears. The bottom of the cups taper and that is the problem. If the bottom of the cup was as big as the top I don’t think this would be a problem. The fold up nicely and the sound is decent. I just used them on the plane without listening to anything, I just wanted to drown out the hum of the plane. This is a great pari of headphone if it fits over your ears.

I bought the Alteam noise cancelling headphones for a long flight to Europe and I am very disappointed. The noise cancelling only works in the right ear, what a rip off! Don’t make the same mistake I did but rather avoid these headphones like the plague. The kid in the review video had to have been paid off, he actually says the Alteam headphones “outperform the Bose” which is a blatant misrepresentation. I will definitely be returning this junk.
