From the other positive reviews posted, it seems like there are some quality control issues going on at Scosche. My experience with this product was very poor.
The only pro I noticed was that the passive noise isolation was good if you pick the right size inserts.
Multiple cons:
-Inserts were too deep for my ears. They hurt after about 10 minutes.
-sound quality. Mid frequencies are over aggressive, ok for phone conversations but bad for music. There a high noise floor (static) with no input and the tapline control seems to add “clicks” to the right ear.
-mic quality. For some reason, the mic kept cutting out. I would be talking to someone and then all of a sudden they couldn’t hear me.
-Lastly, I would’ve kept these as backup mic/earbuds but they keep SHOCKING me. I’ve been shocked three times in the left ear in the past few days on both the computer and iPhone. It really hurts!

I like this set – though they may appear cheap, they are functional and inexpensive. Make sure you’re always looking for the built-in microphone and controls when shopping for your iPhone headset. A good functional buy.

I have an iPod Touch 3G, and the mic and volume control worked OK, but the audio playback control stopped working after just a few clicks. Unfortunate, because there a lot of products w/volume and/or mics, but I needed one with the convenience of audio control.

These headphones are very comfortable to wear, but have the worst sound quality of any headphones I have ever purchased. The headphones do not play bass very well, so the treble is overwhelming. I can’t listen to music very loudly because the sound is so shrill. Don’t be seduced by the low price! It’s not worth it!

For under $50.00 is the best you’ll get indubitably… I got these today at the apple store I’m still in the trial period. I find myself deciding between these and the Klipsh S4i, although I’m not really sure if should put another 59 dollars on those… I’ll have to decide within the next 2 weeks.
So far I can tell you that the mid to high range is not to bright, but it is way better than the average ear bud/phone. The low range, that’s a different story.. it is precise and understandable, if you are one of those people who love really low and deep bass you won’t get it from these…but, if you like rock music (and I mean any sub genre) this buds are great, to my taste they have a very good equalization.
