Shiny Video Review: Noise-cancelling headphones

By Grissom

Kat and Alex take a look at Bose and JVC headphone and ask if they’re taking the description “noise-cancelling” a little too far. Watch more videos at www.shinyshiny.tv and www.techdigest.tv.

Wow. That review was so bad! NOISE CANCELING doesn’t really mean that it cancel sound COMPLETELY. Learn the product more when you do a review. I’m 12 YO and I know more than you guys. Noise Canceling means that in reduces ambient noise. Terrible.

I’ve been reading the comments, a lot of people are commenting that the review is wrong coz the Bose cancels more noise. Well, am I the only one who’s listening properly??? she did say that the JVCs did a worse job canceling out noise.

… whatever… this review is a total lie! and if you want a VERY GOOD pair of headphones for a reasonable price, look for the audio-teechnica quietpoint noise canceling headphones. otherwise, bose is waaaay better than jvs’s model, i dont know if you know what you’re talking about but i think your review is a joke… YOU ARE WAY WRONG… you dont know what you are talking about…

obviously bose is best. this review is a fail. look at 1:06, they talk about the qc2′s but they put a picture of the qc3′s.

Inane review. Thanks for trying but please do yourselves the favor of educating yourself on technical terminologies before executing a review on “TECH”. I’m sure that several viewers have been kind enough to inform you that NOISE CANCELING headphones do not completely ELIMINATE noise but they simply reduce ambient noise to more tolerable and less stressful levels. This review did little or nothing to assuage the numerous negative stereotypes about women and their grasp of technology. DREADFUL!

U guys r way wrong. The sound quality of bose is better than JVC and Bose QC3 cancel noise, not muffle it. The on-ear headphones muffle sound.

Noise canceling headphones only cancel out low frequencies like the noise on an airplane or on the bus. These headphones don’t cancel out sounds like talking. If you want to be able to tune out the whole world you would need noise isolating headphones but you would have to jam them deep into your ears and constantly replace filters on them.

It is odd that most “Noise Canceling” headphones do not cancel noise. I am glad you have reviewed these headphones. Cheers!
