the sound quality is pretty good. but the look is just horrible. the long and thick cable is very stiff and unattractive. it looks like someone just got it from junk yard. also it is impossible to change the ear bud. the one comes default on the headset is too big for me so I was try to change to a smaller ones (included in the package). but I just couldn’t figure out how to. I am sending it back.

Not particularly good as compared to even my iphone-included earbuds. I was surprised, but not in a good way. One thing, they are quieter. Two, they don’t have as much bass as i hoped for $70. Basically same or less than my apple ones. The only good about them (possibly), is the form factor. They do block the outside sound, IF they stay in your ear canal. Of course my ear is not a Shure ear, so none of the foamy thingies keep them well implanted in my ear. Not happy. I suppose the next level up from $15 earbuds is $300

Walking through an airport and seeing shure’s top of the line bud for almost $500 shocked me. I thought for that kind of money Shure must know what they are doing. I have owned the Bose ear buds for the last three years. I’m plugged in everyday at work. I received a pair of these Shure ear buds for xmas and was pretty excited until I listened to them. The noise canceling is Great, but the music was not what I expected. The sound is very flat like a cheap pair of ear buds. You can get the Bose ear buds for the same price and get a richer, fuller sound. The noise canceling is not as good as the Shure buds, but the sound is 100X better.

I was very unimpressed with these headphones. I experimented with the different ear inserts – even at their best the sound quality was only marginally superior to my $20 Sony Fontopia ear buds. Not at all worth the price IMO. I’m takn’ them back to best buy.

These are very great headphones for the selection. Bose can kiss my asspearageuess. Buy them for sure!!!
